I was fortunate enough to start practising yoga before all the craziness and popularity happened. I started in London 12 years ago with an amazing teacher who taught me all the aspects including pranayama, chanting, philosophy and meditation. All people in the room were there for the amazing transformation experience way beyond the power yoga workouts most people expect now. Now often if you want to teach yoga which you believe in, you will probably not have a big audience to start with, but is it really worth it to sell your self and your teaching in order to earn more money and attract more people who just want to do 1 hour long power workout and go home?
Yoga for me is a real creative process, a form of art which allows you to survive the most turbulent times and enjoy the creation of the beautiful things coming to you even more. It became my life and made me see and change and it will do this to everyone who give it a try.
Find your teacher, change your life, let people around you see how it change you so they will want to change as well and this is how everything can change or at least improve.
Lots of love. Be a good and kind person. M.
